Rental length 🕰️
U-Save offers flexible dates. You can rent a vehicle for a couple of hours, a few days or several weeks.
The maximum amount of time will vary by location and availability.
Age policy 🔞
You must be at least 21 years old to rent a U-Save vehicle. If you're under 25, you will be charged an additional fee compared to other age brackets.
There is no maximum age limit.
Additional driver fees ➕
You will be charged extra for each additional driver.
The only exception to this is if the added driver is the renter's spouse, ward, or employee (when driving for business reasons).
Late fees ⏰
Most US U-Save locations offer a 59-minute grace period (but can vary). If you return your rental within this time frame, you won't be charged any extra.
Rentals returned after this will incur additional fees, which will be deducted from your deposit.

Does U-Save charge a cleaning fee?
Yes. If you return your car with excessive dirt, foul odors, animal hair, etc., you will incur a cleaning fee. This will be charged to your credit card.
Who owns U-Save car rental?
U-Save is owned by the Green Motion Group, which consists of two car rental companies, U-Save and Green Motion.
Do I need an International Driving Permit (IDP) to rent a car with U-Save?
If your driving license is in Roman letters (Latin alphabet), you won't need an IDP. If it's in any other alphabet, you will.
