Unlike many budget airlines, JetBlue offers seatback entertainment, no change fees on most fares, and TrueBlue points that never expire!
JetBlue operates through six focus cities: New York JFK, Boston Logan, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Los Angeles and San Juan. Its point-to-point model ensures broad US coverage with over 870 daily roundtrips!
JetBlue’s economy cabin is anything but basic. All seats come with generous legroom (32 inches as standard) and free Wi-Fi you can stream on. You’ll also find seatback screens with live TV, on-demand movies and music, all included.
Travelling with someone? You can even sync shows and watch together. Need more room? Upgrade to Even More Space seats for up to 38 inches of legroom. You’ll also get:
Available on select coast-to-coast routes, Mint is JetBlue’s premium experience. Mint comes with:
You’ll find Mint on popular routes like New York to LA or Boston to San Francisco. It’s not available on all flights, but JetBlue plans to launch Mini Mint - a new domestic first-class seat - starting 2026.
You can check in for your domestic JetBlue flight online or via the JetBlue app from 24 hours before departure.
If you’re travelling with hand luggage only, this is the quickest way to get ready. You’ll get a digital boarding pass that you can save to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Prefer checking in in person? That’s fine too. JetBlue has self-service kiosks and staffed counters at most airports. Here’s when to arrive for your domestic flight:
All passengers get a personal item for free, like a backpack or handbag that fits under the seat (max 17 x 13 x 8 inches). Most fares also include a carry-on bag (22 x 14 x 9 inches) for the overhead bin, except Blue Basic, which doesn't unless you're a Mosaic member or qualify for an exception.
Paying at the airport? It'll cost around $10 more. Extra charges apply for overweight or oversized bags (over 50 lbs or 62 inches total).
💡Tip from Alternative Airlines: You can add bags when you book with us or come back to manage them later - it’s quick and flexible.

Not in the traditional sense. JetBlue’s premium cabin is called Mint, which is more like a lie-flat business class than the recliner-style domestic first class you might see on other airlines.
Mint is only available on select longer domestic routes, like New York to LA or Boston to San Francisco. A new product called Mini Mint (with plush recliners) is launching from 2026.
