Berniq Airways destinations

Berniq Airways operates flights within Libya and to key cities across North Africa and the Middle East. The airline’s current network includes both domestic and international routes.

Domestic routes:

  • Misurata to Benghazi

International routes from Libya include:

Berniq Airways baggage allowance

Baggage allowances on Berniq Airways flights vary by ticket type and fare class. Here's what you can generally expect:

Carry-on baggage

  • 1 cabin bag per passenger
  • Weight limit: up to 7kg (15 lbs)

Checked baggage

  • Economy fares: Usually 1 checked bag up to 23kg, or a total allowance of 20kg
  • Premium fares or promotional tickets: May include 2 pieces at 23kg each, or a combined 40kg total

What you need to know

  • Check your ticket: Your exact baggage allowance is shown on your booking confirmation
  • Piece vs weight: Some fares include a per-piece limit, others allow a total weight to be spread across bags
  • Extra baggage: Fees apply if you exceed your allowance, so it’s worth checking your fare rules before you travel

Berniq Airways check-in

Berniq Airways does not currently offer online check-in, so all passengers must check in at the airport.

Airport check-in tips:

  • Arrive at least 2 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure
  • Make sure to bring your passport and travel documents
  • Allow extra time during busy periods, especially for international flights

Airport check-in desks will close ahead of departure, and late passengers may be denied boarding, so arriving early is key.

Berniq Airways cabin experience

Berniq Airways operates a full-service flight experience using Airbus A320 aircraft. While cabin classes aren't heavily tiered, here's what you can expect onboard:

  • Comfortable seating in a standard configuration
  • In-flight entertainment systems available on most flights
  • Complimentary meals and drinks included, even on short-haul routes

The exact onboard offering may vary slightly depending on the route and aircraft, but Berniq Airways aims to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience across all fare types.
